USA Triathlon Sanctioned Event

This event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon, the national governing body for the sport of Triathlon. We suggest all our participants become familiar with USA Triathlon Rules and Regulations. Officials will be present enforcing these rules.

Policies and Refunds

Transfer Policy
The request to transfer out of a race must be made 14 days or more prior to that scheduled event date. No transfers will be allowed underneath this deadline. The fee to transfer registration to another athlete is $40. The fee must be accompanied with an application from the new participant. Transfers can be made to any race produced by Georgia Multisports Productions. However, there are no transfers allowed after the last race of the season to another race in the following season.

Race information

Cut-Off Times
All participants must complete the event in under 4 hours, 30 minutes from the start of the event. Event officials reserve the right to pull a participant off the course if it appears as though that participant will not be able to complete the event in under 4 hours, 30 minutes.

Individual Discipline cut-off times are listed below as cumulative times from the start of the final swim wave:

Run : 45 minutes
Bike: 2½ hours or total of 3½ hours of swim and bike
Run: 1 hours 15 minutes

Minimum Age
The minimum age allowed for participating in the Rock ‘N RollMan Duathlon is 16 years of age.

Aid Stations

Run Course: Aid stations on the run will be positioned approximately every mile. These stations will contain bottled water and mile 4 aid station will have SlayRX and bottled water. The aid stations will be self service.

Bike:  40k bike course has many rolling hills.
Run: 10K a flat out and back course and ends back in the park

Packet Pick-Up

Participants must collect his/ her own event packets. This rule applies to relay team members as well. A photo ID is required in order to collect event materials. NO ID = NO EVENT. ALL USAT annual members must show a valid USAT membership card or pay the one-day membership fee ($15).

Awards

Awards will be given in each of the following divisions:

Top three Overall (M & F)
Awards will not be mailed to anyone no exception – you must attend the ceremony to receive an award or have someone attend for you if not able to attend Award Ceremony.

All 3 Sports and Podium Multisports will be available race morning for minor adjustments.
