A portion of the proceeds from this event will help the Cancer Foundation of Northeast Georgia (www.cfnega.org) provide immediate financial assistance to local cancer patients struggling financially due to their cancer diagnosis and treatment. Your participation in this event will certainly change a life, starting with your own! The Cancer Foundation of Northeast Georgia's goal is to improve the quality of life for cancer patients and their families who need help.

All categories will increase $20 after July 28, 2024
USAT Members: $85 for Sprint and Duathlon, $80 for Aquabike
Non-USAT Members: $100 before July 28, 2024 ( $95 Aquabike )
Relay Teams: $150 (does not includes USAT one day membership fee)
Relay Teams: Racers can form teams for the Sprint distance of two or three to compete in the triathlon, with each athlete racing one event.

This event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon, the national governing body for the sport of Triathlon. We suggest all our participants become familiar with USA Triathlon Rules and Regulations. Officials will be present enforcing these rules.

Course INFORMATION
Course Descriptions:
Swim: 400 Meter lake swim (Sprint and Aquabike)
Run: 2 mile very flat and fast (Duathlon)
Bike: 14 mile bike with rolling hills (Sprint, Duathlon and Aquabike)
Run: 5k run though Sandy Creek Park is mostly flat except for one rolling hill around mile two with a very fast finish (Duathlon, Sprint)

Completion Timelines:
Georgia MultiSports Productions for safety reason has established a course and race completion timelines as follows:
Duathlon
First Run: 20 minutes hour
Bike: 1 1/2 hours or total of 2 hours and 20 minutes of run and bike
Second Run: 40 minutes or a total race time of under 3 hours
You may be asked to return your timing chip and will not receive an official time. if you choose to complete the event it will be without course security or support.
Triathlon
Swim: 1/2 hour
Bike: 1 1/2 hours or a total of 2 hours for the swim and bike
Run: 40 minutes or a total race time of under 3 hours
You may be asked to return your timing chip and will not receive an official time. if you choose to complete the event it will be without course security or support.
The time assigned for each segment are guides and will vary by individuals’ ability and our decision to remove a competitor will be based on the overall progress toward completing the event safely and within the total allotted time.
Packet Pick-Up
Must have valid drivers license and current USAT card if you are member.
No one can pick up your packet except you. .

Sandy Creek Park: August 10, 2024: 400 Bob Holman Rd, Athens, Georgia 30607 from 1 pm to 4 pm. You can also register at this time.
Race Morning: Packet pick up available at race site 5:30 am to 6:30 am prior to the race.
