Join us for the 2nd Annual PT Solutions Cartersville Duathlon. Both 5k runs are flat and fast with scenic views of Cartersville farmland at the historic Etowah Indian Mounds. The majority of the bike course winds along country roads with some fast portions and a few rolling hills. Riders will roll by farmland, wide-open fields and portions of the Etowah River.
Events Amenities:
All participants receive a short sleeve t-shirt, goody bag, chip timing and plenty of entertainment! There will be plenty of post-event food and healthy snacks to refuel.

- Age Group Awards: 3 deep, male and female, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.
- By USAT rules, athletes’ age groups are determined by their age on December 31st of that year.
Packet Pick – Up and Registration:
You must present a photo ID and USAT card if you registered as a USAT member to pick up your packet. You cannot register or pick up a packet for someone else – this is a USAT Rule.
We recommend that you pick up your packet before race day if possible – this will make for a more stress-free race morning. If you are unable to provide proof of your current USAT membership, you will be required to pay a $12 one-day fee, required by USA Triathlon.
Timing Chips will be given out race morning near the transition area. We recommend fastening the timing chip and elastic band to your ankle as soon as you receive it race
morning.

Transfers & Refund Policy
The request to transfer out of a race must be made 7 days or more prior to the scheduled event date. No transfers will be allowed after 4/10/2011. The fee to transfer registration to another athlete is $30. The fee must be accompanied with an application from the new participant.
No Refunds will be allowed.
Event will be held rain or shine.
USA Triathlon Sanctioned Event
This event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon, the national governing body for the sport of Triathlon. We suggest all our participants become familiar with USA Triathlon Rules and Regulations. Officials will be present enforcing these rules.
Event Photography:
Brightroom Photography will be on hand to capture images of this event. You will receive a custom email from BrightroomPhotography following the event which will include your splits and event photos. If you do not get this email you may visit them on the web at www.brightroom.com.
Georgia MultiSports reserves the right to use your image from any Georgia MultiSports event in marketing or advertising materials.
